For which which payment will and truly to be made and done we do bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators and every of their jointly severally and firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals. Dated this twelfth day of April AD one thousand and eight hundred and sixty two. Whereas at an Orphan's Court held this day at Flemington in and for the county of Hunterdon aforesaid the above guardian George B Lindaberry was by this said court appointed guardian of the person and estate of William F Lindaberry minor under the age of fourteen years, child of Wesley J. SECOND, I give and devise to Catherine Alpaugh, daughter of Raymond Alpaugh, of Pottersville, her heirs and assigns forever the sum of one thousand dollars. THIRD, I give and devise to Glen Alpaugh, son of Raymond Alpaugh of Pottersville, his heirs and assigns forever the sum of one thousand dollars. FOURTH, I give and devise to my nephew, George C. Lindabery, son of Peter W. Lindabery, of Pottersville, his heirs and assigns forever the sum of one thousand dollars. FIFTH, I give and devise to my nephew, Edmond Rowe, son of John Rowe, of Bernardsville, his heirs and assigns forever the sum of four hundred dollars. SIXTH, I give and devise to Trudie Felmey, daughter of George Rowe, her heirs and assigns forever the sum of six hundred dollars. SEVENTH, I give and devise to my nephew, Clarence Rowe, son of George Rowe, his heirs and assigns forever, the sum of two hundred dollars. EIGHTH, I give and devise to George Felmey, son of Arthur Felmey, of Pottersville, his heirs and assigns forever the sum of two hundred dollars. NINTH, I give and devise to the Trustees of the Fairmount Rural Cemetery, their successor or successors, the sum of one hundred dollars. The said one hundred dollars to be deposited in some safe bank or Trust company paying the highest rate of interest and the interest thereof is to be used annually for the upkeep of my plot in said cemetery. TENTH, I give and devise to the Trustees of the Pottersville Cemetery, their successor or successors the sum of one hundred dollars. The said one hundred dollars to be deposited in some safe bank or trust company paying the highest rate of interest and the interest annually is to be used for the upkeep of the plot of my mother, Harrata Rowe, in said cemetery. ELEVENTH, I give and devise all the residue of my property real, personal or mixed to Addie Elmer, wife of Charles Elmer of Pottersville, her heirs and assigns forever. TWELFTH, I give to my executors and to the survivors or survivor of them full power and authority to grant, bargain, sell and convey any and all my lands to any person or persons in fee simple or otherwise, at public sale or private sale at such time and upon such terms as they shall think fit. THIRTEENTH, I hereby appoint Elston Beaty the sole executor of this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me made. J. hereunto subscribed our names as | witnesses. | END from Richard Alan Lindaberry (0.144), 1992, bio BEGIN George was born on December 3, 1826. He married first Emily Teats on July 17, 1847. Emily was born on June 13, 1828 and is the daughter of Adam Teats and Margaret Apgar. Emily's father owned a farm next to George's father. They grew up together and fell in love. After Emily's death on November 18, 1868 George married Esther Robbins on June 19, 1872. Esther was born on February 19, 1837 and is the daughter of Andrew Robbins (died on August 5, 1865) and Lucretia Conover (died on September 26, 1891 at about 74 years of age). After George's brother, Wesley Jacob Lindabury (9.104), died George became guardian of Wesley's children. During George's lifetime he added several hundred acres to his farm between Cokesbury and Fairmount, New Jersey through selling, buying, and leasing land back and forth. George died on September 17, 1917. Esther died on January 17, 1908. George, Emily, and Esther are all buried in the Fairmount Methodist Cemetery.
