TRIBUTE TO THE MEMORY OF CAPTAIN SAMUEL H. ROBBINS
Mauricetown--- The recent decease of this useful citizen has cast a gloom
over our community. From his early manhood the writer has been closely
associated with him, first as a shipmate on the sea, then as a partner in
the ship-chandlery business at Bivalve, and in both found him worthy of
the utmost trust. He was a man of unquestioned integrity whose business
and moral standards were of the very best.  He is now in that better place
where many of us must soon follow.

Capt. Samuel H. Robbins 1862-1935 was the son of David O. & Mary Ann Cruise
Robbins. Samuel's grandparents John Robbins III & Hannah Glann were both
descendants of Richard Robbins of Cohansey, NJ.
