From the Blairstown Press, Blairstown, New Jersey: BEGIN Several weeks ago Smith Hildebrant of Hope, went to Dr. Bellet and was operated on successfully. He was warned to be very careful for sometime. Last Thursday he rode to Hope on a farm wagon and next night came near to dying of hemmorages. END transcription of Newspapers->Deaths->9.37.jpg From a local newspaper dated April 25, 1923: BEGIN Mrs. Emma Kishpaugh, of Hope, widow of Smith Hildebrant, died April 22. She was the youngest and last survivor of the family of Lewis Kishpaugh and Huldah Cook. She was born where G.A. Read now lives and attended the little school on the hill near Calvin Ervine's and since her marriage has lived at Mountain Lake. She leaves her children Mrs. John Almer of Townsbury, Lewis and Jehiel of Hope, Ernest of Vaux Hall, William of Newark and Sadie at home. END
