transcription of Newspapers->Marriages->9.680.jpg From the Hunterdon Gazette, Flemington, New Jersey dated April 4, 1860: BEGIN A Jerseyman Caught in Illinois. Married on Tuesday March 20th, in Perry, Pike Co., Illinois, by the Rev. S. M. Osmond, Mr. George M. Kuhl formerly of this town, to Miss Emma, daughter of J. K. Cloveland, [sic] Esq., of the former place. Good for George; may he never be sorry. For the instruction of others we would say that a little joker about the size and shape of a ten cent piece, but of a yellow complexion, accompanied the above notice, to which we very politely and gracefully lifted our beaver, and humbly returned thanks to the donor. Let others do likewise and manifest their appreciation of the Press. A long life of happiness and prosperity for George and his better-half. END
