He was born in Washington township, Morris county, about 52 years ago, and had lived here ten years. He was employed by the Taylor-Wharton Steel Company at High Bridge. He married Miss Mabel Smith of Flanders, who survives, with three sons and a daughter, Walter Lake, Everett Lake and Miss Bessie Lake at home. END
