She was baptized Rachel Armstrong Bush, daughter of Abraham Bush and
Sarah Prall, according to a handwritten baptismal record in the Bound Brook
Presbyterian Church. But she was probably named for a cousin, Rachel Urmston,
the Armstrong mistaken for Urmston when the records were hand-copied by a
later minister. She married Wm. W. Teeter April 8, 1851. Her three children
were George V. N., Sarah Runyon and John Creed, all buried in the same
plot belonging to William W. and Rachel (Bush) Teeter. The family lived in
Franklin Twp., Somerset Co., NJ.
