From a local newspaper dated April 18, 1888:

BEGIN

  Coursen Linaberry died at his home near Knowlton Frame Church on Monday.
He was in the 75th year of his age and possessed considerable property,
owning the farm on which he lived and two others, all of which he acquired
by hard and diligent labor early and late at his shoemaker's bench.  He is
survived by his wife and his sons Jabez, Silas, Hiram, Josiah, and his
daughter Mrs. James Hill.

From the Blairstown Press, Blairstown, New Jersey dated September 15, 1897:

BEGIN

  Died at the home of her son Jabez Linaberry near Union Brick on Monday
Mrs. Elizabeth Linaberry, aged 82.  She was born near where Samuel Linaberry
now lives, not far from Walnut Valley, and lived there all in that vicinity
all her long life.  She was the daughter of William and Annie Ferguson.
On October 28, 1832 she married Gershom Linaberry who died nine years ago
and to them were born seven children, five of whom are still living.
