My connection is through Marshall's half-brother Phillip from his father's
2nd marriage, distant through marriages.

As far as the relation of Marshall to John, I've followed the family in my
Ancestry tree. I've several census' which include Marshall, his parents and
siblings. Also his death certificate listing both parents. The informant
was E.W. Linaberry who is Marshall's son Earnest Washington.

My Marshall's family moved from Warren County, New Jersey to Susquehanna,
Pennsylvania between 1850 and 1860.
