The Maxsainer coat of arms shows the golden Sayni lion with the silver club,
the attribute of the Apostels Judas Thaddaeus.  Where the Steinchesbach
unites with the Saynbach, old municipality Maxsain is appropriate for
agricultural surfaces in a valley boiler, surrounded by expanded forest
point and the 800 years.  With its 1100 inhabitants, inclusive, the local
part Zuerbach, is Maxsain at persons the third biggest and with 1300 hectars

A special event in the recent history of the place took place to 1.3.1970,
when the neighbour municipality Zuerbach mentions, for the first time 1315
documentary, was dissolved and into the municipality Maxsain integrated.

Maxsain and the larger main and regional school in Selters.  As resuming
school Dierdorf with six-form high school and High school are available.

operated still so intensively that no fallow land is present in the gemarkung.

Maxsain saves also some culture-historical Kleinode, whereby the landmark
of the place is the Evangelist church with the romanischen tower already
established before 1500.  The today's church ship was built 1786 in the
baroque style.  An optical as well as acoustic preciousness is the old
organ made by master Schoeler.

Under monument protection the parsonage building, in-art nouveau, stands
with the material 'Selterser Trachyt', delighted building.

As example likewise under monument protection the standing house 'Sahm' is
considered to the Frankish building method with its rich bar and carving work.
As construction period 1680 are accepted.

A further, beautifully restored and monument protected framework is to be
seen at the house 'Havranek' in the avenue road.
