The data has been divided into four family units that existed in Oderin circa 1830's.   Page 1, William Lake and Mary Jarvis or Gervis, my ancestors. Page 2, Solomon Lake  and Sarah Unknown.  Sarah was Solomon's first wife. Page 3, Solomon Lake and Mary Abbott.  Mary was his second wife.  Mary Gail Murphy is a descendent of this marriage. Page 4, John Lake and Eleanor Abbott.  Teresa Collins is a descendent of this marriage. To date I have been unable to connect the Oderin Lakes with Richards Lake's FT.  Richard has a comphrensive FT with many Lakes.  When Covid subsides I will again have a researcher in England try to make a connection(s). Any questions or comments please don't hesitate to contact me. We did 6 Y111 tests on three descendants from this line and we are not a match. The Lake’s from St. Joseph’s, Oderin, Parker’s Cove, St. Lawrence, St. John’s, are all the same Lake’s. I match you I believe,, . I sent you mine, James Lake and Teresa Collins info. Gordon Lake is matching us but not through the Lake’s as his test shows that his first Lake in Newfoundland was maternal...Anything you can help us with would be great. We cannot find a baptismal record for Solomon Lake approx birth 1790. His son Joseph immigrated to the US 1862 and documented on the record that his father Solomon was from England and his mother Mary Abbott was from Ireland.
