I am looking for the father of Thomas Lake who married Sarah Peet(Peate)(Peat) 
in Stratford, Fairfield Co., Connecticut about 1685.  There have been
many theories, but I would like to solve this mystery. Henry doesn't seem
right because of the differences in dates; Thomas seems more logical and
yet that would mean that my Thomas would have had to return to England to
receive his inheritance; and just recently I found another possible--John.
Any help would be appreciated.
