Subject: Proof of Payne-Lake connection

I now have proof that my Payne family is connected to the Edward Lake 1716 family.
AncestryDNA professional genealogist found the following:
Edward 1716 and Mary Saunders Lake were the parents or uncle & Aunt of William Lake Payne 1789. Between these two is a generation gap??? Wm.
was born 1789 Exminster, Devon, Eng.  He married Ann Rowe in 1813 Exeter, film 916925,26,27, witness was Josiah Lake.  Their issue was John
Lake Payne 1817-1870, and  Thomas A. Payne 1834 and several other children.  John Lake Payne was the father of my John R Payne- 3rd great
grandfather.  John married Elizabeth Yeo 1846,Stoke Damerel Church, Plymouth, Devon Vol.9 pg 492.  This paper research by Ancestry shows these
people all have Lake connections:Susan Hertzke, Wm. Hately, Gordon Webber.
