There was an Edward LAKE who was a British sailor.  He jumped
ship in the early 1800's on the island of Maui HI.  I am searching
descendents of Gustave LAKE, b 1830 ME, to CA (1851) to Hawaii & Oahu
(1877 -)and frequently encounter descendents of Edward.  Gustave also
had a brother, Edward Dustin b ME 1834, and a son, Edward, b 1859 CA.
(Gus had 3 marriages.  I'm now looking for children from the 2nd b. HI)
