My grandfathers name was Stanley Walter Ernest Lake
who was born 31st July 1913,West Norwood London.  He
married Ivy Muriel Turner on 12th August 1939 in the
Register Office in Croydon and died 14th October 1980.
They had 4 children, 1 boy and three girls.

His Fathers name was Earnest Charles Lake who was born
in 1888 and married a Lillan Rose and then died 10th
December 1952 at Penrith Rd in Thornton Heath.  He was
a Metropolitan Police Constable
