From: Gail Taylor To: "wwjohnston01@yahoo.com" Cc: Teresa Collins ; JAMES LAKE ; Cec Sent: Sunday, March 31, 2019 5:51 PM Subject: Lake's My name is Mary Gail Murphy. My gggg grandfather was Solomon Lake born approx. 1810 married to Mary Abbott. According to his son’s Joseph 1842 immigration record to the US. His father Solomon was from England and his mother Mary was from Ireland. (I will attach). His daughter Ellen born 1840 married Patrick Murphy of James Murphy and Catherine Walsh. Patrick’s brother Daniel married Martha Lake of William Lake and Mary Jarvis/Gervis.   (1) Wesley my gedmatch # is T261049 and my uncle John Murphy’s is T732319 John matches one of your kits. *Wesley Johnston T361414 on Chrom 19 at 7.5 generations   (2) Myself and John also match Teresa gedmatch # T384955. I match Teresa if I drop the CM’s to 6 but John matches her and I match Teresa’s brother Basil. Chrom 5 at 6.5 generations   (3) Both myself and John match Cecil Lake gedmatch # A707725 Chrom 15 and 8 at 5.2 generations   (4) I match Gordon gedmatch #NJ2364134 Chromo 3 and 19 4.4 generations   I also have a match to David Connors NL960037. He also matches Cecil on Ancestry as well as his brother Frank. They are direct descendants of Solomon Lake and Mary Abbott. So if I follow this thread in your email, I will join this Lake email.. Suggestions please. Cheers.   The new generations matrix is attached, shifted left (row and column labels are locked) to show Gail and her uncle's connections, which are highlighted in blue. I also highlighted in pale blue the recent Newfoundland Lake immigrant DNA descendants. And I highlighted the rows for the two Massachusett's Lake DNA descendants, since they too are part of the matches of Gail and John. In fact, either Gail or John or both have distant connections to most if not all of our major clusters: the James Lake Jr cluster, the various Christopher Lake clusters, the Massachusetts Lake cluster and the Newfoundland cluster. So this is a very significant pair of kits added to our tag group.
