Have just started working on the family tree (and hit a brick wall even
before starting).  Am son of William R. Lake, b.  5/26/1915 in Warren
Co. Indiana, d.  4/5/1983.   Williams father, also thought to be a
william deceased in RR accident soon after my fathers birth.  Wm R's
mother name was Laura E.  unkown maiden name.

My father raised by an apparent relative or friend of family in
Evanston, Ill., the returned to Warren Co. Indiana to graduate in 1933.
Next to nothing known of Lakes prior to 1915.   Wm R. also had 2
sisters.
