Yvonne E Stevens Robbins
Retired telephone operator lived in Berwick

   Yvonne Eldoras Stevens Robbins, 71, formerly of Berwick and Metairie,
La., where she lived for 34 years, and for three years as a resident of
Folsom, La., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008.
   She was the daughter of the late Paul Joseph and Eldoras Rough Bucher
Stevens.
   Yvonne was a retired telephone operator with South Central Bell, now
known as AT&T.
   She was a a [sic] beloved wife of the late Harold Leon Robbins Jr.;
loving mother of Heather Schroeder and her husband, David, of Franklinton,
La.; grandmother to Brooke Elizabeth Schroeder and Jordan Margaret
Schroeder, both of Franklinton, La.; sister to Joan Carter and her
husband, Burton, of Ponchatoula, La.; Robert Bucher and his wife, Sandy,
and Richard Bucher and his wife, Debbie, both of Pennsylvania; aunt to Kim
Durand, Daria Ernest, Karen Devan and Michael Bucher.  She is also
survived by seven great-nieces and nephews and a close friend, Corinne
Lacey.
   Memorial services and interment will be announced at a later date.
   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Allen R. Horne
Funeral Home, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa.
