Have you heard of a person named Alonzo (Seward) Lake b. abt 1843? He had
a wife named Elizabeth b. 1843.

From what I read Seward Alonzo Lake was son of John L. Lake. It happens
that Seward Alonzo Lake is burried in the same cemetery as my great great
grandfather, Massena Lake, which would be Brookside Cemetery, in West Branch,
Michigan, Ogemaw County. My great great great grandfather, Mortimer Lake,
died in Horton Township, Ogemaw County as well (but we do not know where
he is burried). I have a genealogy report that says John L. Lake is Jacob
and Hannah's son, but not totally sure about that, but I believe it quite
possible.

John L. Lake went to Michigan, also, as did Ebenezer Lake. Ebenezer's parents
were Joseph and Ruth, and I believe that possibly John L. is a brother to
Ebenezer. I would be interested in any information you have linking John
L. to Jacob.

Mistake
John Lake is not one of Jacob Lake's children, however, could possibly be
a relative of some sort.
