Town of Rindge

John Emory, a native of Topsfield, Mass., married Elizabeth Perkins,
came to this town in 1771, and settled in the southwestern part. Warren
W. Emory, who married Caroline Lake, is a descendant of John. He has
been town clerk since 1868, and is also town treasurer.
