Served from 11 Feb '62 in Co B of the 7th Reg from NJ, Vol I, page 313 of Officers and Men from NJ Who Served in Civil War, pub. 1870's. In Co. D, 7th Reg. David Lake, Pvt. 3 Mar 64 for 1 yr, out 17 Jul '65, substitute. P. 323. In Co D, also, James G. Lake, 1st Sgt., 31 Aug '61 for 3 yrs. Promoted to 2nd Lt. Co B, 25th Reg., 30 Dec '62. P. 322
