"On Caveat against the proving of the will of Isaac Garrison dec~d entered by Abraham Garrison" This is just above the beginning of the series of depositions. I think the other page was close to the end of the depositions. But this Abraham is one that I don't think I have in my database. He must be close related, somehow. Is there an index in this database? If you can mention the procedure you went through to find this, that would be super. I'll be back with the page numbers in a little while. What an interesting case. What was the relationship between Isaac Garrison and Abraham Garrison, who contested the will of Isaac Garrison? Thanks, Liz On 19 October 2013 19:11, E Johnson wrote: Fabulous. Thanks so much for the follow-up and link, Andrea! It will take me awhile to go through 20 pages, but certainly will do. After the will, there's about 20 pages of testimony from various parties about how the will was made and whether or not Isaac Garrison was of sound mind. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-29798-24749-54?cc=2018330&wc=MM1F-Z4R:192226935 -Andrea ---In njgf@..., wrote: Thanks, Andrea. Isaac Garrison's marriage with Nancy must have happened between June 1817 (Namoy buried) and November 1819 (Isaac buried). I wonder what chance there is that Namoy and Nancy are the same person --wonder if there was a problem reading the 'Namoy' grave stone. There's no Nancy Garrison buried in Dividing Creek Baptist. Yet Isaac G died only 2 1/2 years after wife Namoy. Is there some evidence of the second wife Nancy? Thanks, Liz J On 18 October 2013 21:48, wrote: Hi Liz, I believe this is Isaac Garrison of Newport that died in 1819. He first married Naomi ("Namoy") who died in 1817 (both buried at Div. Creek Baptist) and then married Nancy. I do not believe he had any children. -Andrea ---In njgf@..., wrote: I forgot the date of this deed. It is 5 June 1800.
