there are references to three LAKEs.  The book contains a list of
registered licenses and there are these two LAKEs listed:

Also in the book there are copies of two Bills of Sale:  one is for a
quarter interest in the schooner, William Lake of Millville, purchased
by Robert Lake in 1850, and the other is for a quarter share in the
Schooner Kedron purchased by Robert Lake at Bridgeton in 1847.
