Romaine R. (Robbins) Bardo
   Romaine (Robbins) Bardo went to be with the Lord and ended her journey
in this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.
   Romaine was born Feb. 2, 1917, the only child of Horace and Florine
Kline Robbins.  She graduated from Millville High School in 1935, and
married Glen Bardo on Sept. 4, 1937.  During her life, she worked at
the Bloomsburg Hospital and was a caregiver for the late Earl Eves.
She also ran the family farm while Glen worked away.
   Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting and lovingly caring for her
flowers.
   She was a member of Greenwood Township Methodist Church.
   In her later years, she fought a losing battle with dementia and
diabetes.
   Romaine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen Bardo,
on Sept. 26, 1991.
   She is survived bt her nephew, Barry L. Rider, who was her caregiver
for nearly 17 years; a niece, Linda Rider, of Longmont, Colo.; a sister
in-law, Thelma Puzio, of Fair Haven, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.
Romaine was almost like a second mother to Mrs. Janet Welliver of Mineral
Ridge, Ohio.
   At her request, there will be a private service at the convenience of
the family.
   Donations in Romaine's memory may be made to the Geisinger Hospice
Program, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822.
