Hutchinson on Esek Robins. Esek Robins married Ruth Randall/FitzRandolph in 1762. Who was the father of Esek Robins or maybe his name was also spelled Isaac? The name Randall appears with the son of Samuel & Margaret Page Robins & later generations of this line. Unable to find Esek's parents. If any member has a FitzRandolph family link let me know I have some early Bible records for this family & can post them here. They were living in Connellville, Bullskin Twp then. As well as the Page family, who remarried into the Robbins line in Fayette County also. Would be interested in seeing the Bible info you have. My questions centers around the name Randal also known as Randolph & FitzRandolph used by Samuel & Margaret Page Robins for one of their sons. Why was this surname used? Usually it indicates a family relationship. Esek & Moses Robins both married into the FitzRandolph family & these are later connections. Could the wife of Aaron Robins & mother of his children have been a FitzRandolph/Randal? The name of the 1st wife of Aaron Robins has never been discovered. I haven't found any early link to the Page family & FitzRandolphs so it appears the name came into the family from the Robins side. Some of the FitzRandolph's in the Bible records had descendants who migrated to Cumberland Co. & married into the Richard Robbins line in later generations. Do you know what line of FitzRandolphs migrated to Fayette Co., PA & if they relate to the ones in the Bible records? Please disregard the message that the Bible records are in the files. For some reason I'm having trouble now posting to the files so went to Robbins Records Album in the Photo Section. Was able to post three pages there & have two more left. Will have to try later on & see if Yahoo will co-operate.
