Does anyone know to what line this Ezekial Robins belongs. From his Will he appears to be a single man. His mother's name was Mary & he mentions his siblings as Samuel, Ann, Peggy & Elizabeth. Samuel was a minor in 1805. The Inventory of Ezekial's personal estate indicates he was a shoemaker by trade. He appoints his cousin George Robins as executor. He is likely from 8-MOSES, 10-AARON or 11-BENJAMIN. From the NJ Calendar of Wills, we know: 1-His Upper Freehold will of 1805 names "mother Mary", brother Samuel, sisters Anna, Peggy, Elizabeth KERR and cousin George Robbins. 2-Ruth Robbins Upper Freehold 1817 will names sons Ezekiel, John, Charles and daughters Elizabeth FINDLEY, Hulday STOUT, Priscilla STILES, Rebecca ALLEN and friend George Robbins. Ezekiel died in 1805. It appears that Ruth, who died in 1817, was his wife and one of their sons was Ezekiel (Jr). I can only suggest he is a 10-Aaron great-grandson based on the following: 1. Ezekial names his cousin as George Robbins in his will. Randall Robbins brother of Samuel Robbins, Jr. had a son George Robbins b. 1772. This George may have been Ezekial's cousin. 2. LDS Ancestral File gives a marriage date for Samuel Robbins, Jr & Mary Rogers as Sept. 2, 1779. I don't know their source for this date. Could they be Ezekial's parents? 3. It appears from his will Ezekial Robbins wasn't married or had any children when he died. He names his mother Mary & siblings as his heirs. He may have been young man with no wife or children. 4. Ezekial's sister Elizabeth was married so she was probably at least age 18 or older in 1805. His brother Samuel was under 18 in 1805. If Ezekial's parents were Samuel & Mary Rodgers Robbins & married in 1779, then the time frame appears to fall into place for them to be the parents of Ezekial & his siblings. The Ruth Robbins with the will dated 1817 wasn't mentioned in Ezekial's will of 1805. I think this is a different family from the Ezekial Robbins of 1805. Maybe someone else has more information or some additional thoughts on Ezekial & his parents. I don't find a will for Samuel Robbins, Jr. Sara
