Page 368 Vol V 326-327 2/14/1764 Tavern in Amwell Hunterdon Co. at foot of "Robins Hill" to be sold, property of Daniel Robins deceased. In the publication "Annals of the Forty" from the Grimsby Historical Society (I think) states under Robins that the family came from the "Robins Hill" area of New Jersey. Anyone familiar with where this is/was in the Amwell area? This was 3-Daniel's tavern (he died in 1763). My guess is that "Robins Hill" is in the Sergeantsville area which is SW of Flemington. Hope someone can locate it for us.
