Published in The Express Times on Apr. 21, 2020 Easton, PA Mary Magaret (Marty) Case FRENCHTOWN, NJ Mary Margaret (Marty) Case, 96, of Frenchtown, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hillsborough Township, NJ. Born April 16, 1923 in Ottsville, PA, Marty lived in Erwinna, PA before moving to Frenchtown in 1943, when she married her beloved husband John L Case, Jr. She was a homemaker and worked at various jobs. Marty loved different sewing projects, crocheting, and crafts. She was a very active member of the Frenchtown United Methodist Church and was known for her famous vegetable soup, at the church's soup dinners. Marty spent many years doing errands for and taking friends grocery shopping when they could no longer drive. Most of all, Marty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The family would like to thank her dear neighbor and friend, Harry Carr, who helped her with many backyard projects. Daughter of the late Elmer and Nora (Esser) Scheetz, Marty is survived by her three sons Robin Case of Milford, NJ ,Gerry Case, Frenchtown ,NJ and Kendall Case, Milford, NJ. Her two daughters, Diane Weber, Easton, PA and Sandy Rowe, Ringoes, NJ. her eight grandchildren, her seven great-grandchildren and her four great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John L. Case, Jr. in 1995, her three brothers George, Theodore, and Raymond, and her three sisters Irene McCollick, Della Meyers, Florence Scheetz, and her grandchild, Kristin Case. A graveside service will be held privately at the Frenchtown Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
