GERTRUDE LAKE ... In "NJ Marriages 1684-1850" (V. 1, p. 47) she is listed
as marrying WILLIAM HOFF on 21 Jan 1801. I believe this William is a
son of Gabriel Hoff (1774-1830). There is a record (Bk. 15, p. 34-34 &
Bk. 18, p. 62) in Hunterdon surrogate court records naming, among other
children, William & wife Gertrude. (This information came to me through
another party.) I don't have any additional information on this couple,
but would be happy to know if you find anything.

I should've said William was a son of GABRIEL (d. 1790 in Kingwood). The
Gabriel who died in 1830 was another son of Gabriel (Sr.) and would've
been a brother to this Willam.
