While looking through some old issues of the Hunterdon County Historical
Society Newsletter I came across a couple of Jonathan ROBINS references.

One reference was an inquiry placed by another researcher in the Fall 1990
issue seeking info pertaining to Jonathan ROBINS who married Effy HAMLIN
(b 11 Aug 1763, daughter of Thomas HAMLIN (1728-1810 Sussex Co, NJ) &
Sarah HILLS.

The other reference was in the Fall 1986 issue, vol 22, no 3, page 500.
Jonathan ROBINS, an NCO or private, was reported absent from military
training in June of 1800.  Jonathan was between the ages of 18 and 45.
The Company was Captain Samuel HOLCOMB's.  Either the newsletter did not
reference a source or I failed to record it (probably the latter).

Does anyone know which Jonathan ROBINS(es) the above two references are
referring to?
