I found a record of teh Death of John Robins,in Wheatland, Hillsdale County Michigan. He was 89 years old. His parents were Johnathon (?) and Mary Vosseller. The record can be found at:

I forgot to add that John died in 1909. He was 89 years old. And he was born in Hunterdon County NJ.

The genealogy of the John Robins mentioned in the death record can be found in the work of Elizabeth Robbins Wood, "Robins Family" FHL has a copy. The family of Jonathan & Mary Vossler Robins of Hunterdon Co., NJ migrated via NY to Michigan. The relationship to the Daniel Robins family & this Jonathan Robins family has not been established. We refer to this group on page 44 of the Robins, Robbins of NJ book. I think DNA would be helpful in making this connection if someone in this particular Jonathan Robins family could be found & was interested in genealogy.
