I am descended from a Jesse Robins who was born in 1789 "in New Jersey"
according to family records, and who died in Caroline Center, Tomkins Co.,
NY in 1868. His wife was Katherine Lane.

In the same cemetery (Ludlowville,. NY) is the grave of his father, John
Robins, (1761-1838) also "from New Jersey).
