I'm afraid I didn't find anything for the specific names you are looking for. But I did find a couple of things that may provide clues for you ... Daniel LAKE (son of John LAKE & Abigail ADAMS) married Sarah Ann TILTON (daughter of Hannah STEELMAN ?). If your William's middle name was Tilton then there may be some sort of link here. Daniel (1 May 1803 - 13 Feb 1851) and Sarah (2 Feb 1808 in Bakersville - 18 Sep 1886) had children: Jesse S., Hannah Ann, John Tilton, Daniel, Armenia, and Mary Jane. Margaret (sister of Daniel) married Joseph TILTON. I also found Ezra A LAKE and Laura Florence THOMAS had a son named John Tilton (b 18 Nov 1906). FInally I found Vincent Franklin LAKE and Eva W. FRAMBES had a son named Eugene Tilton (3 May 1878 in Absecon, NJ - 8 Mar 1969 in Stroudsburg, Pa).
