perhaps 55.5 and 82.5 from https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/robins message exchange BEGIN ROBINS in Monmouth, Middlesex & Hunterdon Cos, NJ By Marshall Lake December 12, 2002 at 04:55:49 Is anyone here researching the ROBINS surname in Monmouth Co (and possibly Middlesex Co), NJ ? I have a couple of court records "BURNET vs ROBINS" from the August term in 1725 from Monmouth Co. The first is John BURNET vs Joseph ROBINS. Joseph ROBINS is described as a tenant occupying a tract of land in Middletown, Monmouth Co. A declaration was served to Joseph ROBINS by Alexander MACKDOWALL of Perth Amboy, Middlesex Co. The second court record is John BURNET vs Moses ROBINS who occupied a tract of land in the same place and was served on the same day by the same person. Joseph ROBINS is stated as being married. There's no such statement for Moses ROBINS. I have a Jonathan ROBINS who suddenly shows up in what became later Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co in 1751. I've been trying to find his parents for years without success. The names Joseph and Moses are both used in families stemming from Jonathan ROBINS. Does anyone have any help on this matter?
