Lake family members belonging to the 8th Regt NJV

While doing research on the 8th Regt, NJ Vols. Civil War era I came across the following and felt that it should be conveyed to the members of the site and may be of passing interest -
"A Patriotic Family.
Mr. John S. Lake, a citizen of Trenton, has five sons, and all of them are in the army, viz:
James and John S. Lake, Jr. in Pennsylvania regiments.
Joel W. Lake, in the Fourth Regiment, N.J. Volunteers.
Jacob A. Lake, and Ebenezar Lake, in the Eighth N.J. Volunteers.
Very few families, we fancy, can be found that can furnish a parallel to this.'
