Robbins, of Burlington Township, died early in the morning of November 28, 2008. Born November 7, 1910, Leah was 98 years old. Mrs. Robbins was a longtime resident of Trenton, NJ. She was the proprietor of the Norma Lea Shop on South Clinton Ave, where she sold women's and men's apparel for 50 years. Mrs. Robbins enjoyed her last years residing at the Masonic Home. She was involved with various activities. She served on the resident council for her unit, N-2. She was an avid knitter and received recognition for a blanket she knitted while at the Masonic Home. She was a member of the Victory Chapter #96, Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Robbins was an active member of the United Presbyterian Church in Yardville, NJ. She served as a deacon, an elder and financial secretary. The wife of the late John Robbins, she is survived by her daughter Norma I. Carnivale of Bordentown, NJ, her sister Ruth M. Kaliszewski of Trenton, NJ and her brother William B. Schlegel of Cranberry, NJ. She was the beloved grandmother of Linda L. Doelle of Burlington, NJ and Terry L. Wetherell of Nova Scotia, Canada, the loving great-grandmother of Katarina Lynn Doelle of Burlington, NJ and Tyler Killan of Nova Scotia, Canada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:30am Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ. Friends and relatives may call at the Masonic Home Chapel, Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am. Interment will follow services in Riverview Cemetery, Lalor Street, Trenton, NJ. Donations made in her memory to the United Presbyterian Church, 12 Yardville Hamilton Square Rd., Yardville, NJ 08620 would be appreciated by her family.
