Robbins Sara Marriages of Monmouth County, NJ gives the marriage date as 12 Dec 1834. I show that a gravestone for Jane Gravatt Robbins is in Fallsington, Falls Twp., Bucks Co., PA, having been moved there from Penns Manor, Falls Twp. I have never been able to make the connection with the Robbins families that lived in Penns Manor, however. Robbins Bill, I posted the gravestone of Jane C. Gravatt Robbins (1811-1892) in the photo area & will post her husband John's (1814-1875) stone too. John B. Robbins died in Millstone, Monmouth Co., his parents were Richard & Phebe Robbins. I'm interested in linking this family to the correct line. Do you have any thoughts on how this line may connect? It's interesting you also have a Jane Gravatt Robbins. Is there a connection here? I have no idea why there is discrepancy with date of the marriage day for John & Jane. The record I have gives the 7th. Robbins Sara I really can't add anything, except that the FallsTwp. Robbins did migrate there from Monmouth co.,NJ You give John B. Robbins parents as Richard and Phebe. Would this be the Richard C. and Phebe B. Robbins buried in Emlay's Hill Cemetery, Upper Freehold, Monmouth Co., NJ? Richard C. 21 Jul 1792 - 4 Jul 1855. Phebe B. 25 Nov 1794 - 5 Dec 1842. And.can you carry their lines back any further? Robbins Bill, I believe Richard & Phebe B. Robbins buried at Emlay's Hill are John B.'s parents. Right now I'm at Richard but searching for a connection to the previous generation. There are probably 4-5 generations to link from Richard C. back to Daniel Robins, Sr. Are you working on this line too? Richard C. Robbins was elected as a trustee of the Imlay Hill M. E. Church in 1816 along with Ezekiel Robbins. They may be related. I'm also searching for Phebe B's maiden name. Any idea why the Monmouth Co. Robins migrated to Falls Twsp? Is any other member working on this line or have anything on file regarding Richard C. Robbins b. 1792 d.1855? Robbins Sara, I can't say I'm actively working this line right now. I just passed along a little snippet of info that I had. Isaac Ivins Robbins probably came to Falls Twp., Bucks County, PA, for the usual reason - good farmland at a good price. His wife Jane Thompson, had a wealthy Uncle, Hector Calbraith, who was an importer of silver-plate from England. He never married, but took good care of all of his sister's children, setting all the daughters up with farms in Falls Twp. Bill Collins
