William Robbins of Monmouth County, NJ. was born March 16, 1761.  His wife,
Elizabeth, was born May 10, 1766.

William’s Columbiana County, OH, application was made in 1820.  His wife,
Elizabeth, was alive.  In 1840, Elizabeth Robbins made a pension application
from Carroll County, OH.

A family file I’ve just seen says that William Robbins born Mar. 16,
1761 married Elizabeth Loughead.  There’s a marriage record for them in
Bucks County, PA, Oct. 29, 1789.

The marriage date works with the family, the first child was James born
May 5, 1791.

Son Benjamin was born June 7, 1802.  Census records indicate he was born
in PA.

William Robins born 3-16-1761 in Monmouth Co., NJ, died 8-7-1837 in Carroll
Co., OH, wife Elizabeth Loughead. Pension records show he served in Rev War
in NJ before moving to PA then OH. Y-DNA links the descendants of William &
Elizabeth L. Robbins to Daniel & Hope Potter Robins
