Kinney, 83, of Dover, passed away peacefully, at home, Monday, Nov. 26, 2012. Leslie was born in Morristown and has been a lifelong resident of Dover, he spent the winters in Florida. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He worked as an Appliance Serviceman/Dispatcher at NJ Natural Gas, Dover, and retired in 1991 after 37 years. Mr. Kinney was a member and Past Chief of the Dover Fire Department. He was a pilot and owned his own airplane and was an avid Nascar fan and collected vintage and sports cars. Survived by his good friends, John and Rose Hunter of Randolph, Bud Travis of Plainfield, William and Kathleen Ketch of Randolph, and Ken Miller also of Randolph. Also survived by his cousins, Joseph & Elaine Deney of St. Louis, MO and Joyce Paladino of Budd Lake. Predeceased by his parents, Leslie T. and Madge Kinney. Visitation Friday, November 30, 2012, 6 - 8 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. Funeral Services will also be at the funeral home on Saturday, December 1, 2012, 10:00 AM (www.tuttlefh.com). Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Randolph.
