I would love to either confirm or reject this assertion: In the section for the descendants of Anthony Lerch, (p. 443) Chambers says Margaret Lerch married William Case, res. at "the Forge," near Bloomsbury, Warren Co., had ch: Jacob, William, Annie, Elisabeth, Margaret and Mary When Anthony Lerch wrote his will in 1798, three daughters of his eleven children - Margaret, Susanna and Mary - were still unmarried. There was a daughter, Anne, wife of Joseph Case named in the will. When Anthony's wife Anne wrote her will in 1803, Margaret was apparently still unmarried there (or else the will had been written earlier but not updated for subsequent marriages). I have reason to believe that this Margaret Lerch, in fact, married William Metz and moved to Nescopeck, Luzerne Co. Can anyone recognize this William Case and confirm his wife's name? Marilyn
