Did you ever find the info you were looking for ? Some of the property is still intact .Are you able to access/ research the Town of Colonie Directory's ? I know they have them at the towns library or do you know any one who lives in the area who could go there for you . The town directory is not a phone book , it is a listing of streets that says what business or what person(s) lived at an address . The streets are listed in alphabectial order . There used to be an old cemetery on Quail St off Central Ave - the land records indicate the burials were supposed to be dug up and reburied. But I can’t find any indication they were reburied at Eagle Hill, the church's newer cemetery. I’m looking for a Frederick Augustus Glock who died between 1850 and 1860 (there is a other Frederick A Glock buried at Eagle Hill, a relative not the one I’m looking for). Their son was baptized there in 1850, and is in 1850 the Albany census, but by 1860 he’s no longer with the family in Schenectady. No 1855 census record. Probably due to COVID, there is no answer at the church. Does anyone have any copies of St Paul’s death records for that time period? There is a family story that the grave was “lost”, but it’s unclear what is meant. This is a branch of the Glock family that lived in Schenectady. The school was founded in around 1905 by W.O. Stillman, who was a physician. The school was located at 285 - 287 Lark Street. My 2nd great aunt, Anna Tabolt (later Kloster) graduated from the school in the spring of 1912. She later boarded at the school (or at least at the address). From what I have found, I think that this was a commercial training course that was not hospital based and trained women as practical nurses. My aunt moved from house to house providing home-based nursing care. I am interested in finding curricula, pictures of the school building, class pictures or other information about the school and its programs from 1910 - 1915. From newspaper searches, it seems that there were a lot of women who attended the school, because it is mentioned in quite a few articles and obituaries. Any leads or suggestions about research possibilities are welcome. Thank you. I am looking for information about the National Training School for Certified Nurses.
