Helen (Peg) Dolan

Helen (Peg) Dolan completed her 103 year journey on earth & now joins
her husband Francis (Cozy) in heaven. Peg died peacefully on February
1st at Absolut of Endicott where she has been a resident for the
last 9 years. She was the eldest of 4 children born to Philip & Mae
Meagher. Peg was predeceased by her husband, Cozy & son, Robert. She
was also predeceased by her 2 brothers, Roger (Mary) Meagher, Robert
(Betty) Meagher & her sister, Jane (Dick) Powell. She is survived by her
3 daughters, Patricia Dolan, Barbara & Jim Hill, Kathleen & Marty Seliga;
her grandchildren, Steven & Becky Seliga, Maureen & Bill Moloney, Tricia &
Patrick Moore, Jennifer Dolan, Kevin Hill, Colleen & Brian Salati and her
8 great-grandchildren, Kattie, Shannon, Liam, Abby, Sammy, Colton, Braedyn
& Aubrey. Also surviving is her dearest friend, Mary Loughren. Peg was a
lifetime member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and it's Altar & Rosary
Society, parish council & golden age group. She was a charter member &
past regent of Court Bishop Forey Catholic Daughters. She was also a past
President of Endicott Council Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Peg
had a long, happy life. She loved to travel, play cards, sew, and bake
(best lemon meringue pie anywhere). She retained her sense of humor &
her infectious grin to the end. Thanks to the staff of Absolut for your
care & compassion. She loved you all. Calling hours will be Saturday,
February 5th, from 9:00 a.m. until her funeral mass at 12:00 Noon at Our
Lady of Good Council Church, 701 W. Main Street, Endicott. Arrangements
by the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, why not
take the time to visit someone in a nursing home. It'll make their day &
maybe yours too.
