I have a Gilbert H. Lake born about 1807 of Pleasant Valley, Poughkeepsie,
NY.He married Lucy J. Starkins born about 1817 of Manhasset, Long Island,
NY. I believe that they were married at Zion Episcopal Church, Douglaston,
L. I., NY. Lived in Flushing, L. I., NY in 1860.

Children Sarah E. born 1840, Phoebe Ann born in Roslyn,L.I., NY Jan 20,
1845, died Sep 19, 1917 and married John Conrad Baum Feb 17, 1863,George
H. born 1847, Freelove(girl) born 1851, Gilbert born 1856, Catherine born
1858, Elizabeth born 1861, Fielex (female) born 1852, and Lucy J. born 1853

Phoebe Ann Lake and John Conrad Baum were married at the Zion Episcopal Church
and she was buried in the same churchyard cemetery, as were their children.

It is thought that Gilbert H. Lake's parents may be John and Mary Lake.
