This nineteenth day of December, 1783.= =20 I, THOMAS LEAKE, of The Little Nine Partners precinct of Dutchess County,=20 State of New York, yeoman, being weak and sick of body. All my just debts=20 and funeral charges and other expenses to be paid by my executors after my= =20 decease. I leave to my grandson, BENJAMIN LEAKE, son of my son ISAAC, one=20 cow, or its value, when he comes of age. Unto my son, STEPHEN LEAKE, 40=20 acres of land to be set off on the east side of my farm, that I now live=20 on. Unto my sons' four sons, DAVID, PELIGE, DANIEL and ABRAHAM LEAKE,=20 equally, the rest of my said farm. Unto my daughter, SARAH LEAKE, one cow,= =20 one good bed, and horse. Unto my daughter MARY, one riding horse, or the=20 value of =9C14. Unto my daughter LYDIA, one good bed, one good cow, and one= =20 riding horse, or the value of =9C14. Unto my beloved wife LEDIA, the use of= =20 all my estate, while my widow. At her marriage, the remainder of my estate= =20 to go to my children in equal shares.
