Myron Lake Dead Ed Curtis received news that his brother in law Myron Lake was killed in a runaway in Argentine KS Thursday. Lake used to live in Allen County about seven miles northwest of Iola and has three sisters in Iola at the present time. For ten years he was a Santa Fe fireman and his relatives always urged him to go into some other business pm account the danger of his business. He quit railroading and at the time of his death was driving a heavy dray in Argentine. The team ran away and threw him out, the wagon bed striking him on the head and breaking his neck. It was a dreadful accident and his many old friends in Allen County have the deepest sympathy for the bereaved relatives.
