In case anyone is interested I found:

LAKE, WILLIAM in the 1910 Saginaw City, Saginaw County,  MI census ED
# 55 page 21/49 listed as a roomer, widow, 60 years old, he and his
mother were born in W.S. (hard to read and I don't know what W.S. could
stand for). His father was born in New York and his occupation was
insurance.
