From: clcn3930 [clcn3930@yahoo.com] Sent: Sunday, February 25, 2007 9:52 PM I have found an old photograph of Grandfather Robbins - only thing is I don't know if it's Elias H. Robbins or Cornelius Robbins. Both men fought in the Union army during the Civil War. Ths picture shows a very old gentleman (Elias lived to 76 and Cornelius lived to 85) in his Union army or veteran's uniform in front of a cannon from that war. The picture is mounted on a piece of cardboard and the writing in the background is backwards. I believe the picture is older than the 1910s of 1920s, if it is then it would be Cornelius, but am no where near an expert on the matter. Does any one have an idea where I might take it for dating? We have a genealogy library in Houston, maybe they'd have an idea? Thanks is advance for any ideas anyone might have! Lynn in Texas
