I am Battle Manassas Brown II, a descent of Captain Henry Lake (Jr),
Washington Lake, William Lake, Richard Pinkney Lake, Donelson Martin Lake,
Grace Ellis Lake Brown.

I am also interested in the military history of Captain Henry Lake and
his descendants.

The project I am working on involves taking approximately 50-60 World War
I letters of Donelson M. Lake and writing wrappers around them explaining
the context to my nephew who is moving through Army boot camp, officer
candidate school, (completed), and on to Army Flight School.  Its been a
most interesting project.  I've become quite engaged in family genealogy
as well as the military history of the family.
