It seems I was not in the right family! Here's my line: Grant and Janie are the great grandparents I overlapped. Janie's mother was Ellen E Robbins, daughter of John H Robbins. The H is for Hazelton, his mother's maiden name. John's dad was Daniel Robbins son of Joseph. Here's where I went astray. This Joseph is son of Benjamin 1708, (Not Isaac 1698 and Azubia Thatcher) son of Benjamin 1684.  George 1640 is father of Benjamin 1684 and son of Thomas Robbins 1618. And Thomas is the ancestor who came first to these shores.
