Harriette Lake, better known as movie and television star Ann Sothern,
was born January 22, 1909 in Valley City, North Dakota. She died March
15, 2001 at her home in Ketchum, Idaho. Two marriages, the first from
1936-1942 to bandleader-actor Roger Pryor and the second from 1943-1949
to actor Robert Sterling, ended in divorce. She had just one child,
actress Tisha Sterling.
