In Ohio,a Daniel M. Robbins married a Maple daughter, Jane Maple. The
Maple family has several NJ-listed births on 1850 Census.

Telford Grant Maple, recently deceased, authored a Maple Genealogy,
much of it concerning Maple families in NJ. A number of these families
migrated to Ohio, in Jefferson Co and nearby sites. A few went on to
Indiana by 1840-50.

Telford G. Maple's book does not mention the marriage of a Daniel
Robbins and Jane Maple as recorded in Jefferson Co OH in mid 1820's,
and had made no other connection according to my correspondent.
